Under the banner of our American operation Aflex Hose USA LLC, it was decided to take part in this premier exhibition and attending were our main competitors from around the world.

Initially, we had declined to exhibit at this show, however it came to light that a new hose was to be launched by one of our adversaries, the 'F Type' hose, a hose to rival our flag ship product Bioflex and its derivatives, Pharmaline and Pharmalex.

After reviewing the sales literature of the new product, and the outrageous performance claims it made, we felt it our duty to inform the pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical worlds of the existence of this inferior product and the concerns we had about the safety and performance of this product.

For over 30 years Aflex has continued to work hand in hand with our customers, to develop products to cater for their needs, taking into account safety, flow rates, permeability, cleanability, validation and certification.

The reason for our actions at this show, was to inform the industry there is no equal to the Aflex PTFE product range: Bioflex, Corroflon and Hydraline, complimented by our traditional range of smoothbore and convoluted hoses - for industrial applications.

Over 250 companies visited our stand over the course of the three days, some seeking out our products for the first time, others to seek technical advice. However, all the attendees saw that we take the industry we work in very seriously, catering for all their needs.

On show we had our full product range fronted by Bioflex and Corroflon, we exhibited our RFID system, hose colour coding and our legendary flare through fittings. In addition, our 24 month guarantee was there for all to see, with all hoses now carrying USP Class VI and FDA approval, in addition to CE Marking and Atex approval - whatever the industry has requested we have provided.

Existing Aflex distributors from around the world attended the exhibition both to work on the stand and visit the show. The reception given to Aflex and its products was incredible, even the competition visited our stand to comment on our presentations, and left with no doubt that we will protect the worlds pharmaceutical, biotech and chemical markets from inferior products.
