BIOFLEX - PHARMALINE - HYDRALINE FX

Since Aflex Hose launched their unique, patented range of smoothbore-yet-flexible PTFE lined flexible hoses, all our major competitors have struggled to imitate these products, without success.

The word "Smoothbore" is now being misused to describe hoses which actually have a convoluted bore, but the convolutions are not as deep as they are normally. In such hose assemblies with PTFE lined end fittings, this liner is smoothed out where it goes through the fitting, which acts to disguise the convolutions further down the hose bore.

The words "very flexible" are also being misused to describe hoses which are indeed smoothbore, but are so heavily reinforced externally in order to cope with the kinking problem that the force required to bend the hoses is beyond the levels anyone would normally expect to apply.

The simple truth is that there are no equivalent products, and all the questionable use of language by those who describe their products as "Smoothbore with the flexibility of convoluted" cannot disguise this truth.

Aflex Hose are therefore flattered to report that Bioflex, Pharmaline and Hydraline FX continue to be the only PTFE lined hose products currently available which combine a genuine smooth bore with true flexibility.
