To compliment Aflex's world renowned range of PTFE lined flexible hoses, we can offer an accomplished range of fixed and detachable dip pipes accompanied with fume extraction rings and PTFE bungs which provide an essential solution to many pharmaceutical and chemical applications for filling or suction draining of process fluids in drums, tanks, and reaction vessels and can prevent external damage to your dip pipe.

Our fixed, rigid, thick wall Anti-Static PTFE dip pipes are crimped on to the most advanced PTFE lined hoses on the market, to offer a comprehensive dip pipe assembly. Aflex have also developed a range of detachable dip pipes which come complete with an end fitting and can be connected directly to your existing hose assembly.

Plastic Bungs and Fume Extraction Rings

Aflex have always endeavoured to share and fulfil the visions of our customers, and as a result have developed plastic bungs and fume extraction rings for use with Aflex's dip pipe assemblies. Aflex received popular customer demand for a product that would solve the issue of external abrasion on the dip pipes as they were entering and exiting drums and vessels, and as always, Aflex have the solution.

Aflex can manufacture plastic bungs (PTFE, polypropylene, etc.) that suit the bore size and thread of the drum, vessel, IBC, or other tank, and are used to guide the dip pipe safely into the container allowing only for the PTFE dip pipe to contact the plastic bung and therefore prevent external abrasion of your dip pipe. To further develop this concept, Aflex developed a fume extraction ring, to prevent the escape of potentially hazardous fumes when filling or emptying the vessels. The ring will sit over the drum securing the dip pipe with a black Viton gasket, preventing spillage of product, whilst the fumes are transferred away by a hose connected to the outlet.
